A Week of Filming, Breakthroughs, and "Goal Setting"!

We had an incredibly exciting week filled with noteworthy achievements and collaborative efforts!

The week commenced with a productive day of filming for our final film. It was not only about capturing great shots, but also about enjoying quality time together as a team. The experience strengthened our bonds and added an extra touch of excitement to the project.

In the technological arena, we made significant strides. We successfully revived an old Arduino that had been dormant for some time, replacing the faulty one from the previous week. This breakthrough allowed us to accomplish all the goals we had set for ourselves regarding the interactions between the two devices and the user.

Allow us to introduce you to the goal setting mode:

By pressing the button on the mobile component while it sits on the stationary component, users can enter this mode while the LEDs on the mobile component provide visual feedback. In goal setting mode, every cycle made with the joystick is recorded as an intended action for the upcoming week. By pressing the button on the mobile component again, the target is saved, the data is sent to the database, and the stationary component is updated to reset the progress for the new week.

We worked diligently to ensure seamless functionality of all the parts in our devices, addressing all potential edge cases and fine-tuning the product. As a result, our creation is now ready for demo pitch, where we'll showcase its capabilities.

This week we also started printing the final 3D model of our product. We printed the rail for the LED ring, and now we are waiting for the rest of it to be done (40!!! hours).
